Barry Bentley has recently joined the Schafer lab at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, where he is working on the project: functional mapping of neural circuits in C. elegans.

Previous research includes a collaboration with Martin Peniak and the Advanced Concepts Team at the European Space Agency, exploring the application of evolutionary concepts to the design of neural control systems for autonomous planetary rovers.
